Some great peanut butter alternatives, thank you. Yes the test went well; the half bagel with peanut butter stood up to the challenge and passed!

Greetings,

It's good to hear you enjoy a warm bagel smothered with some luscious peanut butter- that happens to be one of my favorites as well; you should also try almond butter, rather splendid i must say.I do hope your little "test" went well; personally speaking, bagels smothered with some sort of nut butter, washed down with a good mug of plain tea (i love green tea with a squeeze of lemon and a quick dash of honey) or alternately, a brilliant, warm, freshly brewed java, are indeed great source of healthy carbs, fiber, protein and energy. A banana or a handful of berries along with the bagel is also great. I'd call that a blissful breakfast.

Cheers

In my opinion, it's a great small meal to start your day with. Try eating your breakfast within an hour after you awake. The bagel is a source of fiber and the peanut butter is protein. You can even add a little honey for sweetness. (choc cravebender) We need these as fuels to keep us from overeating through out our day to day. Remember to drink plenty of water for your system and to keep your hair and skin hydrated. I like to squeeze alittle real lemon juice into my H2O, helps to break down toxins in the body.

Healthy wishes,
Jody
