My name is Noel McCarthy and I write Blog of Good Cheer using the pen name Felix.
Felix seems appropriate as it means happy or lucky in Latin and the blog attempts to celebrate anything good that I stumble upon during my day-to-day life.
I also write the About Abruzzo blog using the pen name Bodach. Bodach is a character from an old Irish legend that I enjoyed when I was a lot younger.
Using a pen names may change in the future but for now I’m sticking to them.
Why the blog?
In the same way my camera has helped open my eyes to photographic possibilities, Blog of Good Cheer helps me to stop taking everyday activities and objects for granted.
Using the blog I’ll try to capture aspects of normal day-to-day activity that I find joyous, and encourage good cheer. I’ll also use my real camera to take a photo or two.
